This page explains what Farewellit collects on this website and why. It covers only what the site does today.

The planning guides need no sign-up

You can read, copy, and print every planning guide without an account and without giving us your email address. The copy and PDF buttons open Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Drive. Making a copy saves it to your own Google account, under Google's privacy policy. Opening or copying a guide does not send us your name or email address.

What we collect

Visit statistics. Our website platform, Directify, records basic visit statistics, such as which pages are viewed. Cloudflare Web Analytics does the same. We use these numbers to see which pages people find useful. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking scripts.

Fonts. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

Cookies. The site uses technical cookies that keep its forms secure and working. We do not use advertising cookies.

Messages to a business. Each listing page has a contact form that asks for your name, your email, and a message. Your message goes to that business, and a copy comes to Farewellit.

Adding a business. The listing form asks for your name, your email, the business name, and its website. It can also take details about the business, such as photos, services, prices, hours, and areas served. Business details appear publicly on the listing.

Claiming a listing. The claim form asks for your name, your email, and proof that you own or represent the business.

Business accounts. Business owners can sign in with an email address and password to manage their listing.

We use this information to run the directory and to reply to you. The website sends emails about your listing, such as when it is published or when a claim is approved.
